Fire and Water Damage Restoration Services in Carrollton, TX
Learn about Carrollton:Carrollton is on Interstate Highway 35 East fourteen miles north of downtown Dallas in Dallas, Denton, and Collin counties. The site was in the Peters colony grant. The first settlers in the area were William and Mary Larner, who came in 1842. The A. W. Perry family followed two years later and claimed their headright in the Trinity Mills area. In partnership with Wade H. Witt, Perry established a mill there. Over time he acquired extensive landholdings, which probably included the site of Carrollton. Many early settlers were related by blood or marriage. In the northeastern area of settlement, which extended into Denton County, was the English colony, where many of the large landowners, including the Jackson, Furneaux, Morgan, and Rowe families, were English immigrants. It is most likely that the settlement was named for Carrollton, Illinois, the hometown of many of the early settlers. In 1913 the city was incorporated, and W. F. Vinson was elected the first mayor. A gravel industry began in 1912 and grew, so that by the late 1940s Carrollton was a "grain and gravel" town that also supported a dairy industry. A brick plant furnished brick for Dallas. During the postwar era the city worked to attract major industries. National Metal Products, a manufacturer of metal utility cabinets and shelving, established itself there in 1946.Four railroads—the Katy, St. Louis-Southwestern, St. Louis-San Francisco, and Burlington-Northern—provide service to the city, which has access to the airports of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Carrollton is served by the daily Carrollton Chronicleand the weekly Metrocrest News. The Peters Colony Historical Society researches and records area history and publishes itsElm Fork Echoes semiannually. In 1990 the population of Carrollton was 82,169, and in 2000 it had grown to 109,576.

The technician arrived fairly soon after the phone call. He came in and assessed the situation with no trouble, making an estimate fairly quickly. He didn't try to skirt the expense of the service, but addressed it directly and honestly. It was pricey, but we were satisfied with what he recommended and went with the service. The tech was done with the initial work in a very timely manner, and was friendly about it all. It was a larger expense than we'd anticipated, but if it keeps our home safe for the family, then it's worth it.

I am very happy with my overall experience with Dalworth after my recent problem with wet carpet and walls. It was obvious Chris was totally competent in his job and the work was completed in less time than I had feared. He took time to explain the process and patiently answered all my questions and concerns. Thanks, Janet Blair

We are in a business location that had a drain line overflow (condensate, not sewer) which filled up a wall and then overflowed onto low pile carpeting on a cement floor. Carpeted area affected is fairly small and one wall in between two rest rooms.

I'd like to get someone out to my house today to determine the cause and damage of a leak we have.
I moved in to my house last year and we found that one of the upstairs bedrooms has wood rot on the floor under one of the windows. With the recent rain we've noticed that there is now a fresh water damage mark on our kitchen ceiling, directly below the bedroom that has wood rot. I think the issue may be a bit worse than what I thought because i think a part of the ceiling may be collecting water.
I'd like for someone to come out today if possible to determine what the issue is and what it would look like to cost.
