The customer reached out due to a severe, multi-level water damage issue stemming from an upstairs bathroom leak. Water from a clogged or overflowing bathroom sink had migrated down through the flooring, heavily saturating the upstairs hallway carpeting and seeping directly through the subfloor. This caused visible water staining, pooling, and structural saturation on the downstairs drywall ceiling directly below the bathroom.

Our emergency restoration team implemented a comprehensive mitigation and structural drying plan: Source & Moisture Inspection: Used advanced thermal imaging and moisture meters to pinpoint the hidden migration paths of the water along baseboards, cabinetry, and flooring.Ceiling & Subfloor Assessment: Inspected the impacted downstairs ceiling drywall to evaluate structural integrity and determine the boundaries of the water stain.Water Extraction & Cavity Drying: Extracted standing moisture from the upstairs bathroom tile and initiated targeted drying for the saturated hallway carpet padding.Strategic Equipment Deployment: Placed commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to safely dry out the multi-layer building materials (drywall, carpet, and wood subfloors) to prevent mold growth and secondary structural rotting.
