• Comment: In August 2025, the historic Villa Philmonté - a 1927 historic house museum at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM - was hit by a devastating freak hailstorm. Over 100 windows were broken by massive hailstones and the entire interior of the building was impacted by shattered glass and water, dirt, and debris infiltration. Dalworth Restoration was recommended to us to handle cleaning this historic museum facility and returning it to visitable condition (which includes visitors being able to remove their shoes for tours). The crew we worked with from start to finish over a period of several months was beyond incredible. Not only did they travel all the way from the DFW area to northern New Mexico twice, they handled a top to bottom deep clean of the building and the historic artifacts inside with care and professionalism. They were communicative, collaborative, and kind throughout the process and left our museum even better than it was before the storm. I would wholeheartedly recommend this organization to any museum or historic site in need of emergency assistance.
